Tuning Fork

Haiku:

Divine play unfolds,

Evolution’s laughter, soft yet wild,

Lila whispers deep.

Parable: The River’s Dance

Once, there was a river that flowed with purpose, carving its path through stone and earth. It knew it was destined to reach the sea, but its journey was not straight or predictable. Sometimes it met resistance—a great boulder in its way—and instead of forcing itself forward, it danced around it, swirling and playing, creating eddies and pools that became homes for creatures unseen.

At other times, the river would encounter a field of smooth stones, and it would skip across them, laughing with each leap. It did not see these moments as distractions from its goal but as part of its essence. The more it played, the more it shaped the world around it, and the more the world shaped it in return.

One day, a wise observer asked the river why it bothered to dance when it could have simply gone straight to the sea. The river replied, "To go straight would be to forget myself. It is in the dancing that I remember who I am—that I am not just a path but a song, a story told by stone and sky."

The observer realized then that the river’s journey was not about reaching the sea but about becoming more alive in the process.
